Drones for sustainability

Meet three scientists who fly drones for sustainability, natural resources management, and research. These Berkeley graduate students speak in three languages about their work on water, wildlife and plants. Mapping and ecological monitoring could not be done without unmanned aerial vehicles. This video won first place in the UCTV Sustainable California Student Video Competition.

Chippie Kislik — recipient of the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) — made this video with Christine Wilkinson, Kelly Easterday, Maggi Kelly, Andy Lyons, and Sean Hogan, in association with UC ANR’s Statewide Program in Informatics and GIS.
